Vesakh 2555 BE celebration

Just had a time to update this blog, hmmmph it was already a week ago since my last post. Oke, we start from:

Happy Vesakha 2555 BE!
Hopefully all living beings be happy.

A little late, but at least better late than never. Hhahaaa.

I always love the celebration of vesakh. When the candles and lantern glow in the dark. I feel something like... peaceful. Yess peaceful!
By the way, I see in Medan, vesakh celebrated with more enthusiasm. Almost every week in a month, there's Vesakh celebration anywhere. Full month of celebration!

I was celebrate it in some place, like in: ITBC (Indonesian Theravada Buddhist Center), Vihara Mahasampatti, to prayed and did some puja rituals.
Also in KMB USU: "Vegetarian Festival", to celebrate it and have some fun.
But unfortunately, I haven't any photos of them. Just photos in KMB, so I want to share here:

3 days holiday

Get a holiday for 3 days! From Friday to Sunday. Actually I feel less, but it's an occasion to refresh my brain from the crazy college. Although tomorrow we have to go to campus again again and study. Huaahh!

Went to Mikie Holiday with Intan, Valen, Arisma, Erda, Nurul, Amal, Ikhwan, and Nazim. You  know, this is my first time go to Berastagi. (Wow, finally I can go there after months of living in North Sumatera.) These are the pics:

Cold but hot? Yess, very shiny there whereas it's windy. Freak! It makes our skin become darker. Wahh, I have to bleach it again.

And on Saturday-Sunday, I join 'saHIVa's training'. This is one of my campus organizations, for the people who care about drugs and HIV/AIDS. Got the new experiences, new challenges, new friends. And I has authorized as a volunteer of drugs XXVI generation. Hmmph, I like social activity actually, but I haven't really sure to become a volunteer here, because of many considerations. But I think, I want to learn before.


--->>> I got an invitation email from Mr. Adi Surantha (fashion stylist). An invitation for front row chair at Pondok Indah Mall Fashion Week 2011: Summer Fashiontastic on April 30th-May 8th 2011. Amazing! I think I'm not really a fashion blogger. I just love the arts, and fashion is one of them. Thanks anyway for the invitation sir, but I live far enough from Jakarta, so maybe can't attend the event. If only I was in Jakarta, I'll definitely attend! :)

Crazy UNO

The uncertainty schedule of lecture make the students tired, because we should waiting the lecturer all day long. As you know, sometimes the lecturer didn't come into the class. Therefore, we must be smart using the time.

We played UNO Card! It's already long time ago since I was playing this card at Senior High School before. Can not be classified as gambling, but this is the only way to kill the time from the boredom. The losers were given the powder, like "kucing garong"! Hehheee :)

I'm so sorry before for this very very late post. Just for your information, I'm not 18 again now, but I'm 19! Heeheehehee. Waahh, so old I'm! Let's say: Happy birthday to me, on March 27th!

This is my first birthday without my families around and so far away from my home. They already called me the day before and congratulated it first. You know, it makes me miss them. But it feels not really bad, because I still have a lot of friends. And I think, I'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends around me. Thanks to you guys, you've made my life more than just colourful.

See, how sadist they are feeding me one by one! Hhaha, but I'm very appreciate what you have done to me, guys. They make it very special with the cake and the gift. I'm so surprised seriously. What a coolest organizer to organize this my special event. Once again, thanks so much to Megawaty, Natasya Claudya, Henny, Indah Sari, Aryani Agiza, Evi Wijaya, and Valentine Purba.
Ohya, I got a great post too about my birthday in my senior's blog, Blog Fauzi. Thanks bang! I owe you a post. So later I'll make it for you too, hehee.. As you know, Bang Fauzi is the one of blogger in my campus and his writings are cool. Hmmph, I'll discuss it later, and you should visit his blog :)

And thanks also to all of you who send me the birthday greetings via sms, telephone, chat, fb, twit, even in directly. Can't to be called one by one, but I still remember clearly who are they. It's very very touching me, when I realized that apparently there's still many peoples who care about my born day. THANKS and THANKS and THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!

BOAT

Yaiyyy, had a fun holiday yesterday!

Went to Parapat, Lake Toba with Aryani Agiza, Iqbal Sirait, Aulia Suci, and Vivi, with a backpack each. Backpacking time! It's about 5 hours from Medan, and we went there by a bus, a very crowded bus. The only thing that's not fun of this trip is the BUS! I often see in TV that many bus with many hucksters hanging around on the bus. But I never have myself experienced about it before, and yesterdey I was! Hhahaaa. Also the driver, driving it very fast on the winding road. And as you know, beside of the road is the abyss. So scary!

I've ever been here before, when FKG's inauguration. And the view in Lake Toba is still very very amazing as before. What a beautiful lake! If you're a photographer, I recommend this place. You have to go here, and make some photo shoot.

So far, I enjoyed this holiday. Just 1 day, and not much that we can do. Sitting on the edge of lake, sharing and talking about anything of us. Hanging around, boat, cross the lake. We go to Samosir Island, especially Tomok area. There's our friend there, Faber Sidabutar. Yes of course we met him there. Visit the museum, etc. So poor, we can't watch 'Sigale-gale' Show, because of the time. Sigale-gale is something like puppet, that can be dancing.
