Let's cultivate the virtue!

After months, I didn't go to Vihara in Medan anymore. Today I do! With my friend, Henny, we go to Cetiya Mahasampatti.

Not because I don't like to go to vihara during this time. No, I'm not! I'm very like it! In vihara I always feel peaceful and most importantly, I can cultivate the good karma there. But usually I wake up late, and also I often get astray when I want to go there, hahhaa! As you know, Cetiya Mahasamppati is very far from my boarding house, and I rarely roamed in there area. Moreover, the streets in Medan are very difficult to memorized. Fair enough?

After that, we go to the market and mall to buy anything for Chinese New Year a few more days. New clothes, cakes, cute mandarin oranges, and also red ornaments! Huahh I have to clean and tidy my room for this. Prepare prepare prepare, because the Chinese NY will soon arrive!
I'll want to go to vihara first in that day, because there's the prayer in Mahasampatti. And after that I'll go to my family's and my friend's house. Yaiyyy, can't wait until February 3rd!

Udah gak jaman munafik, sok nutup-nutupin perasaan!
Okee, selama ini gue memang munafik, selalu pasang tampang gak berdosa, padahal hati gue tuh udah dongkooool abis. Pernah gak sih lo ngalamin kayak gini?

Mungkin gue perlu cerita sedikit tentang ini. Hmmph, gimana ya ngomongnya?
Jadi gini, ada lah someone yg gak perlu gue sebutin ntah siapa. Ini orang rada 'weird' dan kebetulan semua orang yg gue curhatin pun ngerasa hal yg sama. Banyak lah yg gak suka ama dese. Ya cara dese ngomong lah, cara dese cari perhatian sana sini lah, cara dese ngerendahin orang lah, udah ngerasa hebat sendiri kali tuh. Pokoknya dese tuh udah kayak oke nya aja, padahal nggak sama sekali! Lo bakal muak deh beneran kalo tau gimana orangnya.
Tapi yaudah lah gak usah ngebahas itu. Kita gak boleh kan ngehasut-hasut orang untuk sebel sama orang laen? Kalo pun ada yg mau temenan sama dese, ya bagus dong? Berarti kan dese gak perlu temenan ama gue lagi, ngekor-ngekor gue lagi! Gak punya temen lagi tau gak sih dese itu. Hhahaa, coba sih suruh dulu dese itu cari temen yg laen!

Beberapa waktu kemaren, gue memang muna. Pura-pura gak ada apa-apa ama dese. Mungkin kalian udah tau, untuk apa gue ngomongin ini. Atau malah ada orang yg nyadar kalo gue lagi ngomongin dia. Hhahaa, baguslah kalo sadar sendiri, biar gue gak usah repot-repot ngejelasin lagi.

Tadinya sih gue cuma pengen ngejaga perasaan orang aja. Tapi setelah gue pikir-pikir lagi, ngapain juga lah gue ngejaga perasaan kalo ujung-ujungnya berupa kebohongan juga. Mending gue ungkapin deh! Gak perlu secara langsung face to face kayak gitu. Seenggaknya gue udah nunjukkin ke-enggaksuka-an gue ini dengan sikap dan perbuatan, nunjukkin kalo gue gak mau terlalu dekat sama dese lagi. Semoga aja sih dese ngerasa, semoga dese lagi baca ini!

Gue cuma mau bilang, show your feeling! Bagus ataupun jelek, tunjukkin ajalah. Kejujuran itu memang pahit, menyakitkan. Jadi inget apa yg pernah dibilang Maretha,

"jadi orang baik itu susah ya."

Dari dulu gue setuju banget ama quote dia satu itu. Etha emang sabar, tapi gak semua orang bisa sesabar dia. Mungkin gue harus lebih banyak belajar buat jadi orang yg dimaksud 'baik' itu. Karena baik belum tentu bijaksana, jangan sampe kebaikan itu justru malah dimanfaatkan orang, ataupun bikin kita lebih terpuruk. Jadi, mesti lebih selektif lagi buat memilah mana kebaikan yg baik, mana yang tidak baik. Menjadi orang baik itu amatlah baik sekali, tapi akan lebih baik menjadi orang yg bijaksana. Yess, hhahahaa!

The point is --->>> menjauhi orang-orang yang kita anggap tidak perlu menjadi kawan.
Sebagai owner kehidupan masing-masing, kita harus tahu mana yg terbaik buat hidup. Hidup itu kan pilihan!

Subject, souvenirs, and alma mater!

Went to college again, and it means many tasks waiting us! Huahhhh. As you know, in this 2nd semester, all subjects are not easy as last semester. We must learn counting in chemistry subject like in high school and also do a lot of practicum everyday. Great, right?

I can't imagine if that time I pass in industrial engineering, like my first goal. Hhahaa, maybe I have to do that every day, every semester. Maybe I couldn't follow it, totally blank! But luckily, my destiny is here, in dentistry! Where there isn't many sickening lesson. Apparently I was given the best for my future. Of course I'd be grateful of it!

Btw nowadays, because of during the holidays many friends are go home, they come back again to Medan bring the souvenirs. Hhahaha, they're very kind!

# Just for info, finally we got our alma mater! Yaiyyy. A little weird, because usually the freshmen will got the alma mater before they start the college, but us? Yah, after many months we waited, waited long for this one:

The Constitution of India came into force, and India declared itself a Republic on January 26, 1950, a date thereafter celebrated annually as Republic Day in India. The 60th Republic Day of India will be celebrated all over the country tomorrow 26th January 2010. The chief guest for this year’s Republic Day celebration in India will be Lee Myung bak, the President of the Republic of Korea. Republic day parade is beginning from Raisina Hill near the Rashtrapati Bhavan, along the Rajpath, past India Gate and on to the historic Red Fort in the old quarter of the city. Different infantry, cavalry and mechanized regiments of the Indian Army, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force march in formation, decked in all their finery and official decorations.
The President of India, who is also the Commander in Chief of the Indian Armed Forces, takes the salute. The Chief Guest of the parade is a Head of State of another nation. The parade also includes many traditional dance troupes, to symbolize the cultural heritage of India. It traditionally ends with a colourful flypast by Air Force jets in a tiranga formation. Similar parades are held in the capitals of all the states of India, where the Governors of the respective states take the salute.
